The European beaver is to be reintroduced to Scotland for the first time in more than 400 years, the Scottish Government has announced.

Radiohead today posted on their web site in response to the report on their CO2 generation form their 2003&2006 tours (You can download the report here) a new page that will allow fans to determine the carbon emissions for the shows they plan to addend this year. Example for me going to the show here in Toronto I will produce 2.12 kg of C02 (or 0.002tonnes of C02)... if I got to Lollapalooza it would be 342.986 kgCO2 (or 0.34tonnes of C02)...

Many scientist believe that global warming will be the cause of extinction for Polar Bears. Recently Polar Bears have been asked to be placed on the endangered species list, as 'threatened by global warming'. George Bush was given to May 15th to decide weather the US would recognize them as threatened, the same proposal was given to the Canadian government. Now with the knowledge that is given it would seem stupid for them not to place them on the list? Why would then not place them on the list? Unless global warming isn't killing the bears... or the bears aren't even declining in size... but if they are what is really killing them?
